Another Project

I am now coaching a Self-Expression and Leadership Program course at Landmark Education.  This gave me the impetus to pursue a new project that I've been mulling for the last few months.  With the abolition of "sheltered workshops" in Massachusetts, there is a need for new employment opportunities for people with disabilities.  At the same time, I want to create opportunities for making connection between the mainstream and disability communities.  My vision is a coffee shop to be staffed and run entirely by people with physical and developmental disabilities.   My learning curve here will be huge!  But I have some great allies who are helping me gain the knowledge and skills that I need to pull this off.
