Shehekheyanu

"Shehekheyanu" - "Who has sustained us" - is a special blessing said when we reach new milestones in our lives. This week, several children have warranted this blessing.

Barukh Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melekh ha-olam

Blessed are You O Lord, our G*d, King of the universe

Lina Carpenter is home!
Shehekheyanu

Who has sustained us

Judah Duval is home!
Vekiyemanu

And supported us

"Valentin" reaching for and smiling to mama...almost home!
Vehigi'anu

And has brought us

Andrey Mickschl...almost home!
Lazman ha-zeh

To this very day

Cooper Patterson's clubbed feet are straight!

  2. What amazing stories these are... I marvel that all these families start out just being ordinary people.
